From the moment we arrived...everything was perfect. The location couldn't have any better. The desk staff was very helpful and the room stotless. Truly a gem in Venice.
We booked at this hotel but gave us a room in the 4* hotel next to it. The location is equivalent and very good to access anything in Venice. This hotel had a terrace with view on the grande canal which was very good. Breakfast was good and room quiet and confortable.
No complaints whatsoever, however we have been upgraded for another hotel wen we arrived so we don't know about the Hotel Villa Igea...
Well situated, close to Grand Canal and St. Marks but on a quiet square.
Quite location, yet close to the San Marco Square, excellent Service, and facility.
Service in Franch, good localisation, staff very nice
Room size was excellent, and it was very quiet for a location so near to San Marco. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was decent and the hours for breakfast were very good.
There was no heat unless the hotel turned it on (which it did not). Also, water pressure in the shower was very low and temperature fluctuated a lot while it was on.
Excellent location, friendly staff, nice details in room.
Even if the room was pretty and clean, it was very, very small. Also, there's no one at the lobby after 8pm or before 7 am. I had to check out early and there was no one to help me out.
The hotel was in an excellent location, close to St Mark's Square and the water taxis. It provided a good breakfast and the room was small, but clean.
The breakfast room was small and poorly laid out. There were only tables for two people and, as we were travelling in a group of four, this was not ideal. Also, the breakfast room was often full, which meant we had to wait for a table. This was the worst aspect of the hotel.
typical Venetian decor and central location but still very quiet area. Nice breakfast and helpfull staff
bed was too hard and not enough pillows. shower was small
I loved this hotel. Having travelled Italy for a month and stayed in 9 other hotels/guesthouses, this was my favourite. The staff were very friendly and professional, breakfast was excellent and the location couldn't have been better. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Venice.
We arrived late to our hotel on the Friday evening, which was not problem as we were greeted by a very attentive gentleman from the sister hotel who even called to make sure we had made it to our room ok. Our room was small, biut we had a lovely view of the Campo San Zaccaria from a pretty balcony. The breakfasts in the mornings were very satisfactory with a good selection of fruits, meats, breads and a hot option. We found the staff at the front desk very helpful, offering us good tips and kindly booking a restuarant for us for the sunday evening. I would recommend this hotel as its location is prime and we couldn't fault anything about our 3 day stay. Should we return to Venice in the future I would definately stay here again.
The central position in the of Venice with the perfect public transport possibility.
The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel was also in a perfect location--a quiet street tucked away not far from San Marco. Tough to find in Venice! Room was relatively clean. Oh, and they also offered perks they did not advertise.
Very friendly and considerate staff traditional decor, well maintained fabulous position for a 3 day weekend in the city
Excellent location in a quiet square very close to San Marco and the vaporetto. Nice rooms, room cleaned and sheets changed every day. Nice breakfast in the restaurant with terrace by the water. Free wifi.
Value for money is not that good, we payed 200+ eur/night and while totally ok this hotel is in no way luxurious, but this is the case everywhere in Venice.
